We were in the WDW in Sept with the rest of you for free dining ;). We re-booked again for next years Sept free dining. In early December we found out that we are expecting our 3rd in early August. We are actually considering going b/c Mom and Dad are coming w/us and have already picked thier weeks off at work. Lots of help with the kids and fun in WDW. We are thinking of only going to the parks 2 day and a MNSSHP only. However as it gets closer to the 45 day mark, I may get my brain back and cancel. So here are my Q's: If we cancel before the 45 day mark we will get our deposit back? If we decided AFTER the 45 day mark to push the trip back will our deposit apply? If yes, how long do I have to reschedual our trip?
We are thrilled about the new baby but hate to miss a Disney trip!!!

No
Do you remember [or have a copy of] any conditions/restrictions on the bounce-back you booked? I would suggest that if they didn't specify that the deposit was non-refundable, then you should be able to re-apply it.

Perhaps PM JPVonDrake, he usually has answers for questions like this.

I would be happy to help.

You may change or cancel your vacation package anytime up to 45 days prior to arrival without any penalties from Disney, however supplier fees may apply if Vacation Insurance or Airfare was included (see below.)

If you cancel 44 to 6 days prior to your scheduled arrival date, there is a $100 cancellation fee per reservation. If you cancel within 5 days or less there is a $200 cancellation fee per reservation.

If a change occurs between 14 and 44 days prior to arrival there will be a $50 change fee per reservation. If the change results in a higher total package price, this fee is waived.

If any change occurs 13 days or less prior to arrival an additional $10 Special Handling Fee will be charged per reservation. As this Special Handling Fee covers covers our cost to process and mail last minute changes, this fee cannot be waived.

Vacation Insurance:
If the package is booked by phone directly through the Disney Reservation Center, Vacation Insurance is refundable up to 14 days after the reservation is booked. If a reservation is booked inside of 14 days prior to arrival the insurance is refundable up to 1 day prior to arrival.

If the package is booked online or through a travel agency, the Insurance is non-refundable once the deposit is paid.

If the reservation dates are modified, the insurance must be repurchased or the new travel dates will not be covered. Guest have option to submit a claim under the initial policy per insurance guidelines to recover the cost of the insurance plus any applicable change fees.

Airfare:
If airfare is included, change/cancellation fees may be imposed by the carrier based type of airfare that was included.

Thank You!
Just so I have this correct, I won't loose my deposit if I change my dates 44 to 14 days prior but I could pay a 50.00 change fee unless I upgrade the package. We are driving so airlines won't be an issue.
I knew I should ask here frist I hate being on hold and though this time of year there would probally be a long wait.
You all are so knowledgeable.

Correct. Remember however, if you do change your dates you may loose your free dining. Any discount offer is based on availability, with only a limited number of discounted rooms available for each date during the offer period. If we sold out of the discounted rooms for your new dates, you will not be able to modify your reservation and keep the free dining.
