The three final players enter into a small room, their projects presented and their final judgements made. They await the response they've been fighting for all along. Yet in front of them sits only an empty chair and a desk. All three look around, but nobody is around. The spirits and mysteries here in the manor cease as all feels eerie and cool, as if the magic has been stripped away from where it once was.

A crow caws outside the window, perched on the now dead branches of what was once a gorgeous persimmon tree. All life at the manor has been drained, but as the players look again at the desk, a single note now sits atop it. They open it to read, but it doesn't reveal the winner.

"Time goes by, unrelenting and unmerciful to us who abide by it. Each of you has dedicated time to our manor, yet now, you sit alone, within her desolate walls and await an answer that I cannot provide. Your time here has ended, yet, your memories will remain throughout all time. No matter how we try to avoid it, time catches us inevitably, often at our most vulnerable and weak moments, just as it catches us all in this moment. Farewell all, for my time here is over and yours is as well. The answer you seek is inside yourself. Goodbye.

-DP"

They set the note down, looking around and noticing the books, the artifacts, all of it, gone. Only one thing remains in the room: a portrait of the three finalists. @Architectural Guinea Pig finds a scalpel and while he would once rush to it himself, he offers his hand to @ThemeParkPriest and @AceAstro, all three taking hold and tearing the portrait, revealing a final note. These are the winners.

@Architectural Guinea Pig

In the end, it was a very tight race between second and third place, so one big thing knocked you down, and that was the admission of slacking and submitting late. Either this or the second place could've swapped and I had them swapping back and forth over and over, but in the end, this is what hurt you the most: time management.

@ThemeParkPriest

While I think you took the safe route here and stumbled along the way by picking a property you weren't as familiar with or passionate about, I do think you managed to deliver a really solid project for USH.

@AceAstro

No longer the bridesmaid! You absolutely crushed this project and I think it was pretty obvious upon submission. There was so much passion and effort put in here that it far exceeded my expectations and I cannot not award you for your efforts.

The three exit the manor, celebrating yet solemn as behind them, the once proud and ornate manse stood, decaying and rotting in its old footprint. A single crow perches on the eves of the roof and caws down, a strange glimmer in its eye that seems almost familiar, but nobody is sure as to why. The three turn, leaving the property through the gate, and as they turn around a final time to look at their home for the past so many months, they see nothing but woods and forests. The manse has vanished, or was it ever really there to begin with? Only those who experienced it will ever truly know.

The End.

Wow!! Thank you @Dark PerGron for such an incredible game! The storyline, the items, the prompts, etc. were all just perfect! I really enjoyed this season! To @Architectural Guinea Pig and @ThemeParkPriest, my fellow finalists, congrats on an incredible season! I enjoyed every minute of the season when I got to work with both of you creating incredible projects! I’m very excited to see what comes next!

This was one of the greatest stays I could ever have taken! Thank you @AceAstro (and CONGRATS for winning!) and @ThemeParkPriest for making this game feel so much more alive than it already is, and thanks to the rest of the manor attendees, @Dark PerGron, the judges, and the manor cast members for making probably the most mysterious competition ever!

And on that note, I just finished unpacking everything from the trip. For some reason, all the little items I may or may not have nipped from the manor have disappeared along with it. It's weird... but I'm pretty sure the manor did exist.

But there was one thing that remained, that was given to me from another guest from the Cabinet of Curiosities... the Hope Diamond. I'm pretty sure, based on the rumors, that it's what has been causing a lot of mishaps during our stay. I don't plan on keeping it any longer, and I don't want it to go to innocent hands...

But...

Not to Be Dramatic, but You Need to Know About the Hope Diamond

I have an idea. I know a perfect person I can gift this diamond to.
AGP cackles squeakly. He exits the room and disappears.

Well deserved, Ace! You put a lot of passion into your project. When I saw it after Per Gron had said he settled on the winner, I was pretty sure it was you. I shouldn’t have told you had those extra days to work on it. Just kidding!

Thanks Per Gron for the creative competition! It was a great addition to the forum.

Congrats to Architectural Guinea Pig—you had a great final project and lots of great contributions over the season! I knew I had to at least a hand drawn map to keep pace with you.

SHOCKING: ARMCHAIR IMAGINEER TO LEAD DISNEYLANDFORWARD EXPANSION
In a surprising turn of events, a campaign by Architectural Guinea Pig, Imagine the Possibilities: Disneyland Forward Phase 2, has been recognized by Disney as the official plan for their expansion project, DisneylandForward. Architectural Guinea Pig's site can be found here, which has sparked controversy among Disney fans for "being too perfect" (ThemeParkPriest). Another user AceAstro, angrily says, "Why didn't Disney think of this earlier?" The expansions listed are set to open in 2028, and will open a Big Hero 6 "theme park" and a Lost Kingdoms waterpark.

Now that the game is over, I won the Hope Diamond and it caused many curses (including my solo project). That being said, I loved the curses for forcing us to think outside the box, but wasn’t a fan of being personally cursed with a solo project. At that point I passed it off to AGP who held on to it the rest of the season!
