Makes sense. The Punisher isn't suited for either Marvel's current PG to PG-13 films nor network television.

I'm hoping this leads to a Punisher series for the Netflix "phase 2" or whenever. With how well they did Daredevil, I can't imagine their take on Punisher not being great.

True. I guess, ideally, to me, if they did another set of series down the line, I'd push for them to combine Luke Cage and Iron Fist into Heroes For Hire to make room for a different character to have a solo (like Punisher).

Actually, my "blue sky" concept would be for them to do these show with a Defenders payoff once or twice, then do another group of shows (Blade, maybe Ghost Rider if they could afford it, Nightstalkers, Werewolf by Night, whoever) that build to Midnight Sons.
