Dapper Dan Pictures

While some of those pics seem to have taken it to a bit more of a steampunkish level, I think the original motivation was to return to the day when going to DLR was a reason to get dressed up and wear your good clothes.
That's how it was explained to me. I originally thought it was just a day when a bunch of former Dapper Dan singers came back to the park, but then I was told that that wasn't the reason for it, that it was just pretty much an old style dress up day as if you were putting on your Sunday finest so to speak.

Dapper Day is awesome! I went to my first one at the Studios last month. It's not about any specific style or period of clothing. It's simply about having a day where people come out in style; wearing your "Sunday Best" as it were. A lot of people chose to go midcentury (40's/50's look) but it's not required. Everyone was dressed to the nines and just looked awesome. Everyone was happy and friendly and it was such a positive vibe. Really, it was one of the best days I've had at Disney in a long time.

I decided to do a Disneybound of Belle in her Provincial Town blue dress. So it was a 1950's Dapper Day Belle Disneybound. (Try saying that 5x fast!)

For the OP asking about Dapper Dan...here ya go. Here's four of them, actually! :)

I wasn't gonna say anything, but they are what I thought Dapper Dan was! LOL
And, I do have a photo, but my husband is also in it. I'll have to see if I can find it when I get home. I took the photo of them, then hubby photo bombed it.
