We were recently at Disney World in Hollywood. We saw people really dressed up like in the 40's or 50's. It was very interesting seeing some of the ladies dressed up including high heels and the men in suits. I was able to take a few pictures. I didn't know if anyone else had Dapper Dan Pictures they would like to share.

They recently had vilan Dapper Day at Hollywood studios and Magic Kingdom. The actual Dapper day happens 2 times a year at both Disneyland and the Magic Kingdom. You can check out their page on Facebook as the Dapper Darlins.

Why not? DL will also have Goth days, where everyone comes out in their best black clothing and spider web tattoos. I don't understand the draw of this kind of event, but enough people are into it to make it a thing.

We had to finally ask what was going on because we had no idea why all these people were so dressed up.
Interesting to see, but I need to be comfortably dressed for a Disney day. It was a very hot day, too.

While some of those pics seem to have taken it to a bit more of a steampunkish level, I think the original motivation was to return to the day when going to DLR was a reason to get dressed up and wear your good clothes.
