DAK @ night questions

With Rivers of Light and the nighttime kilimanjaro safari coming, how is that going to work with DAK's park hours? Do we know what time these are supposed to run each day?

I will be there in Sept/Oct and DAK is closing at 5:00pm every night. Are these going to be up and running by then, and will the park hours be changing?

Thanks!

Yes the hours will be changed. DAK will become a night time park, so expect to see closings similar to Studios.

That is so great, I am super excited, DAK is such an underrated park, once these and Avatar are complete it is really a game changer for the "half-day" perception of this park.

One site mentioned that they would have 2 showings nightly of RoL at 8:30 & 9:45 which means the parks closing around 10 during the summer..Come by fall and "IF" the budget crisis from Shanghai doesn't get worse it could go to one show a night by then..

AK is beautiful at night. We never missed night EMH back when they still had them. With such a low non-animal attraction count there wasn't that much to do but the park really takes on a different persona at night. It became an adventure with all of the foliage and accent lighting. Very exciting that soon we will be able to enjoy AK at night.

It'll become a 3/4 day park :)
I absolutely love Animal Kingdom - definitely the most immersive North American theme park, but I agree with this. Animal Kingdom needs another thrill ride and another couple of dark rides to be a full day park (IMO). I would love to see a couple of dark rides based off of The Jungle Book and Tarzan, and the Excavator added to a newly themed Dinosaur area.
