Dairy-Free Ice Cream Options

Crunch time is on for us! We arrive September 23 and I've hardly had time to plan a thing! One thing I'd love to know is whether you can get dairy-free ice cream in any of the parks? My son has a dairy allergy but his favourite treat is chocolate soy ice cream. Just wondering if we can plan a special treat for him when we are there! Thanks in advance.

Will most likely be posting many more questions in the next few weeks ;)

My husband is allergic to dairy and I can honestly say Disney has had so many options for him! We have eaten at countless table service restaurants and nearly all have sorbet or non-dairy ice cream options! We were also thrilled to find out he can have Dole Whips!!!!!! :)

That is so great to hear! Can you tell me if they have dairy-free milk (rice, almond or coconut) at all the restaurants or in 1L or 2L cartons that you could take back to your room? My son is a huge milk fan and if it isn't available for him then I will have to be sure and get groceries delivered.

Nothing to add. I was going to mention Dole Whips also, but somebody beat me.

On another note, we are arriving the same day; so I wish you perfect weather, tolerable temps, low crowds, and no tour groups!

You know, I'm not sure. My husband isn't a fan of drinking it. He's just happy when people use it for cooking and baking! I would think it's available though as they seem to think if everything. Maybe call your resort just to make sure!
