DVC rooms are the worst maintained on property because the only group of people cheaper than Disney management are DVC owners.

Ridiculous, at this point it should be across the board and everyone is entitled to daily house keeping with the amount of money spent at any of the wdw property and who ever doesn’t want should opt out. But it should be for all at this point not just deluxe.

And the expansion of DVC to the deluxe results has, as a result, changed their overall feel and dumbed them down. Still hoping Yacht continues to escape the DVC curse.

In reality? I have no clue. There is nobody inside. Not even close. Less talent than Eisner 2002

What they should do? Need probably an administrative head and then two or three divisions that make sense - not the stupidity of the bobs - who run with mostly autonomy.

Disney is too big to have an oligarch. And they probably too big for the dynamic duo too

What they can’t do is have 50% of their actual product that builds legacy under accountants titled “product”…do better. Find and develop talent that understands not to burn bridges with your lifeline - you know, the customers who care?

I think you have identified a real problem but your reasoning is wrong.

The decline of quality isn’t because of dvc…it’s because everyone started paying too much and accepted cuts/made excuses for them.

Yacht club became land locked when they expanded the convention center. You got really lucky there.

Although I am a DVC owner, I totally agree with you.

This is fantastic news but as a DVC owner, what does based on length of stay mean? I’m guessing it stays as it is and it’s daily trash and towel and then clean every 4 days.

The lack of daily cleaning is probably my biggest gripe. Those paying DVC and deluxe prices should get it daily

Wait, what? DVC never got daily housekeeping.

Back when we bought in 1998, we were told trash & towel service on day 4, full cleaning on day 8. Maybe you didn’t get a competent guide.

Past few years (since the Vegas happening) just like every other resort, someone comes in every day for a “security check”, and because we’re DVC, they take out the trash while they’re checking. We were actually pleasantly surprised that our trash was removed daily on our visit last month.
