Hello fellow disney nerds, dreamers, and obsessed
I have been a long time lurker here and by long time I mean since I was old enough to access a computer and now that I am an adult ( or so everyone tells me) I have decided to embark on my very first trip report.
The cast for this magical trip to the world of yesterday, tomorrow and fantasy.
left to right. Jerome (aka my prince), me, mom, sister (Jillian), and Dad.
To give you a little backstory my mom and dad have been taking me and my sister to WDW since I was 2 years old.
That's me as a tiny princess. My socks match my hot pink bomber jacket, I was one stylish kid.
Every big milestone, celebration, and even holidays have been celebrated with a trip to the world. You can call my family obsessed or crazy obsessed if you will. My mom is super mom planner extradonnarie, the day free dining came into existence was a day of joy and celebration in our household, there might have even been a bottle of wine consumed. Next up is Dad even though my dad will roll his eyes and do the ceremonial "it's not just the money, time is money speech" every time we bring up booking we all know deep down he loves it and he might be the biggest disney fan of all. I mean c'mon the guy has a disney tattoo. Since me (26) and my sister (21) are older now I have grown to cherish these family trips since I now live out of state and don't get to see everyone as often as I would like.
Which brings me to this super extra special magical disney trip this past August. Growing up Disney I of course always dreamed of the day I would bring my very own prince to the world with me. Well I found him and he is better then any disney fairytale could have ever dreamed up but there was just one problem he has NEVER BEEN TO DISNEY WORLD. Which brings me to the title of this trip report. This trip has been a few years in the making. We were originally supposed to go last January but conflicting work schedules let us to be re booked for August. We were in the world from August 22nd (Dad's birthday) until August 28th at Disney's Coronado Springs.
Follow Along to see if we succeeded in converting my prince to a full fledged disney nerd.
