Here's what I'm hoping to be announced by Mr. D'Amaro(and many special guests) for the parks on the weekend of 8/9/24: including some dark horse surprises nobody else would expect

Walt Disney World:
-The Tower of Terror re-themed to an all new experience based on The Ghost and Molly McGee(TOT is set to close in October for the re-theme, which is targeted towards a Summer 2025 opening), where guests will still visit the Hollywood Tower Hotel, but now it’ll be home to ghosts from the ghost world, and the McGees and Chens will join the adventure to capture the ghosts and take on Jinx in this re-imagined take on the popular ride, as the drops will still be there, but now not as intense as the current version

-Rock n Roller Coaster will no longer star Aerosmith as Taylor Swift will now headline the popular ride, along with a major refurbishment of the attraction starting early next year and set to be completed by next Summer

-Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live replacing the current DJR show(also for California Adventure), next year, it's time to finally change out the show as the current roster of DJR characters now except for the Mickeyverse have all ended and with the iconic MMCH getting rebooted next year, it would be inevitable for Disney to move on from their current DJR park offerings and reduce it to just MMCH

-The Little Mermaid: A Musical Adventure’s opening date(September 6th) and a sneak peek performance

-Beauty and the Beast: Live on Stage will soon take its final curtain call at the Theater of the Stars after nearly 33 years, as for the first time since 1991, the venue will host a completely new show based on the 2010 feature film, Tangled, which would debut in 2025, the final showing of BATB: Live on Stage will be announced on a later date

-The rumored nighttime parade from earlier this year is becoming a reality as for the first time since 2016, the Magic Kingdom will have a nighttime parade and it’ll be entirely brand new featuring fan favorite characters from Moana, The Princess and the Frog, Tangled, Frozen, Encanto, Raya and the Last Dragon, Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, Toy Story, Coco, Elemental, and more in this lively new spectacle that will make its debut next year

-The Tropical Americas land for Animal Kingdom that was revealed last year is officially happening, Dinoland USA is set to go extinct in early 2025, as more details emerge about the new area, where it would feature an Indiana Jones attraction, a carousel based on Pixar's Coco, an omnimover dark ride attraction where guests can go inside the Casita from the Academy Award winning film Encanto, and new character greeting trails where guests can meet Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Goofy, Max, Pluto, Chip n Dale, José, Panchito, Mirabel, Luisa, Bruno, Isabela, Miguel, amongst others on a daily rotating schedule, and dining and shopping as well

-The Germany pavilion will soon expand to include a brand new mini section themed to Tangled featuring a flying Pascal aero-spinner ride, a boat ride that would finally become a reality in the Germany pavilion(rumored to be a clone of Tokyo’s Rapunzel’s Lantern Festival or a likely downsized version of it), and of course the Snuggly Duckling restaurant, Tangled deserves an attraction for WDW 101%

-More on the Test Track re-imagining

-The former Stitch’s Great Escape attraction would soon become home to an Incredibles attraction featuring Edna Mode and Jack Jack(with the rumored Wreck It Ralph attraction being officially cancelled)

-What is currently Star Wars Launch Bay will soon permanently close to make way for an all new area that would be revealed which would become Monstropolis, from Pixar’s Monsters Inc, that could potentially feature a plan that’s been in the blue sky development stage for over 20 years(and might finally see the light of day), the door coaster, as well as potentially the new home for Magic Kingdom’s popular Monsters Inc Comedy Laugh Floor, taking over 15 acres of cast member parking and the former Animation Studio(currently home to Launch Bay, which will be closing later this year)

-The ultimate expansion plan would be at Magic Kingdom, with the biggest expansion project that WDI is currently imagining, which is “Beyond Big Thunder Mountain”, which had at first featured concepts of Villain Mountain, Encanto, and Coco, but here’s the catch.., Encanto is getting an attraction for Animal Kingdom instead, and they’ve already got backup plans, Villain Mountain is still set for Magic Kingdom, but great news is that the final concept of the proposal is revealed to the public as attractions based on The Nightmare Before Christmas, Coco, and The Owl House are expected to be featured in this ultimate passion project, and Josh D’Amaro announced that the project…, has been confirmed, work will soon begin in mid-2025, and unsurprisingly the WDW Railroad will be affected from the massive work, as new track will be installed

-That’s not all from Magic Kingdom, as an all new attraction is being developed for Adventureland to be themed to the 2016 animated classic, Moana

Disneyland:
-The Boiling Isles themed land is officially announced for Disney California Adventure as the home of Luz, King, Eda, Amity, and more are going to set up shop between Avengers Campus and Cars Land(the same land although a bit smaller is set for Magic Kingdom)

-Another new land will also be coming to Disney California Adventure as the highly successful James Cameron Avatar franchise is coming to California as an entirely new land inspired by the 2022 blockbuster sequel, The Way of Water

-Speaking of Avengers Campus, the long awaited Quinjet attraction(aka: The Multiverse experience) is set to begin construction next year and is expected to be completed in late 2026

-The Hyperion Theater will soon be the home of an all new, permanent, year round musical production based on the 2021 Academy Award winning animated film, Encanto

-Soarin’ Over California will officially be a permanent, year round attraction once again, as the Around the World film will be phased out from DCA for good starting next Spring

-Disneyland Forward, if we do get anything from that

Disneyland Paris:
-The ever growing Disney Adventure World(formerly Walt Disney Studios) expansion will now officially feature a section based on The Lion King with an immersive trackless dark ride based on the 1994 Disney classic in the works, alongside clones of Frozen Ever After in the land of Arendelle and the recently confirmed Flight of Passage for the Pandora section

-As of a result of CBS’ recent termination of the licensing for the Twilight Zone IP for both the Florida and Paris versions of the popular Tower of Terror attraction, as now the Parisian version of The Tower of Terror will be re-themed to Doctor Strange in an all new ride experience themed to the character which the ride will now be a part of the Avengers Campus area

-A Star Wars themed section will soon be coming to the Discoveryland themed land, featuring a coaster themed to the highly touted Mandalorian

Shanghai Disney:
-New coaster is set to be themed to Raya and the Last Dragon, the first ever attraction based on the 2021 animated feature, it is expected to be themed around Sisu the shapeshifting dragon

Hong Kong:
-Tomorrowland's overhaul changes

Tokyo:
-Space Mountain and that's it
