For funzies I used two different cards this time and no Paypal account. I had Land and KK on one, Soarin' on the other. Land and Soarin' were cancelled at the exact same times even though the orders were 3 minutes apart. KK is still hanging in there for now.

Spoke with a supervisor. A very nice and understanding one. She said she has fielded complaints all morning long about this and that she hasn't seen one order go through. Everything is canceled. I spoke about last month's debacle and moving forward. We came to the conclusion if everyone on here is canceled and Ebay is not showing one poster, then it was another crash of the system. All she could do was write a ticket to IT and pass along the complaint.

Maybe they tried to fix the issue from last month and just screwed up this release in a new way??

You should've asked if there's a chance that orders will be reinstated. Doubtful but hey, anything can happen at this point.

Misery loves company...

I woke up this morning to discover my 3:03 am order for The Land and Kitchen Kabaret was canceled. I’m so glad I bothered to stay up last night. Checking in here, it looks like everyone else’s orders have been canceled as well. If this had happened anywhere else I wouldn’t believe it, but, sadly, DropDisney is as DropDisney does, so I can’t say I’m surprised.

I mean, pin them on some times. Until they look at what happened, they won’t fix it. Ask them to tell you exactly what time each poster sold out, and then ask them to check the status of orders placed before that time. Or simply ask them to check for any orders that weren’t cancelled (although it’s easier for them to lie their way out of that). When they can’t see any non canceled orders before sell out, or see that orders were canceled before sell out, then maybe they’ll check with someone to find out what happened instead of just giving you the party line without investigating.
The supervisor I talked to tried to tell me they have absolutely no way of knowing the order in which orders were placed, that they rely on the system to figure that out and there is no record of that data. When I brought up the obvious point (time stamps are attached to all orders, both on their site in order history and in email confirmations): Silence.

Makes me wonder if the WDW AP 30% discount was actually supposed to work for this and they didn't close that particular loophole. It didn't work at Epcot for the ones released there.

I asked that too and two months running was more or less told off for daring to ask said question. Last month’s schtick was that wouldn’t be fair to the people who ordered after me, and this month’s spiel was that it is not possible in their system to reinstate an order once canceled.

So that just begs the question: is there a chance of these being re-released?

I did. If they are to be released again the site updates at 12am PDT everyday and she said it would be open then. Now what day they choose is anyones guess...

Hindsight is 20/20.

I wish I had purchased the posters that I was on the fence about early on, rather than waiting and purchasing over time.

Unless interest has significantly changed, then the final World Showcase posters, expected to be released next month, should be easier because, overall, the World Showcase posters have been slow to sell out. Morocco, for example, was still available 10 days after release.
I wish World Showcase posters were easier to acquire on eBay. I've been on the hunt for Japan at a reasonable price but have found nothing.

And what about only loading 300 items into the system? Is it really that difficult? What a joke.

I don’t think that’s the case. My initial order of kitchen kabaret and the land I did not use any promo codes. Paid full price as I was in such a rush to check out. Still canceled. For soarin which I ordered 15 minutes I used the dvc treat promo code. That order was also canceled. Who knows with this company.

Same here. I said screw the codes and paid full (again, as a test) on Land and KK. Still cancelled. Used codes on Soain', still cancelled.
