Currently what info I have shows this.

IllumiNations - 556 sold
Harmonious - 146 sold
Millennium Celebration - 358 sold

If my info is true I suspect we will see Harmonious return tomorrow, or within the next few days.

As for how this happened, this is what I suspect based off of my info.

This posters are all drop shipped, so they get shipped to buyers directly from Cyclops Print Works. This can be seen by shipping labels on the posters originating from the following address (Cyclops Print Works address).

It's also why they have a disclaimer about shipping being different.

The normal flow for on demand made items such as this, is for an insanely large number of the item to be loaded in to the system. Then nightly that number resets, since they can theoretically never run out of stock. This creates an issue when you have Limited Edition items that are made on demand like these posters though.

Thanks for this info. That's quite an oversell on IllumiNations. Hope Disney offers something in return if they have to cancel orders.

Are these really printed on demand, meaning after people purchase them? I read an earlier post here that disputed that, due to the time it takes to screenprint (multiple ink passes, each of which has to dry before the next, etc). Also, screen print shops are hammered right now, lots of timed editions being done, not many competent shops out there right now, especially since some have closed temporarily due to Covid. Can't imaging they'd be able to turn around 900-1200 screenprints in the relatively short time between on sale and when these have been shipping.

They'll give people their money back since that's all they have to do, sadly. Cyclops Works is probably prepping (or started) to do the October round of posters now. It's a long process for each poster.

Hello, I made an account to keep up with these releases (I didn’t even know these were a thing until last week).

I’m mostly just interested in the gran fiesta tour poster because I have a fondness for the caballeros. Is generally considered a less attractive one for people? I really don’t want to compete with scalpers.

A general rule of thumb, if it’s limited and it’s Disney related especially parks it will sell out and be hard to come by. Even non-limited pieces sometimes follow this rule. I can’t specifically say how the Caballeros will sell but I’d imagine it will sell quickly given the popularity of this series. If you want it act quickly when it goes up.

World Showcase has generally sold out really slowly, even with fan favorites like American Adventure. IllumiNations seems to be the exception. I doubt Three Caballeros will sell out quick. I can tell you I have zero interest in it, that's for sure.

I do wish it had been El Rio del Tiempo. This, for me, would have been a rare and special remembrance of an original Epcot Center attraction that had little merchandise.

Shooting for my last poster purchase to be World of Motion to fill out my FW poster wall. I'm guessing World of Motion/Test Track/Wonders/Play! are next?

Maybe they will release that World Celebration poster after all.
