me and my family stayed there (if its the cypress pointe at LBV) in aug/sept. 2004. i really liked it as did everyone else. it was like an appartment it had a kitchen, living room, bedrooms, sofa beds, laundry area and the door that was next to the laundry machines went into an appartment which also contained the above but the side house was like your own apparment. in our appartment we also had 3 bathrooms which all had showers, toilets and baths in them as well as 2 sinks. the 2 houses had varandes and each room had air-con in it which was great.

we where there during hurricaine francis and they really did look after us. we where updated with notes and by the phone on the progression of the hurricaine. we where given extra blankets, toilet paper, sheets and more.

they also have a mini mart in there and they did do subs which where tasty :slurp: . the mini mart also sold other types of food and sweets and souvineers.

when we first arrived the dining table was all set like it was something out of a magazine.

i really did enjoy it there and you can see the entrance to DTD from where we where and you could see the lights from DTD.

across the street is a walgreens.

hope that helps.

Ok cool, it looked good on interval so your description helped alot more.

P.S. We got the place booked just in time. Next day we checked online and no rooms were avaliable.

My parents own two units there: one in the older section, and one in the new section. It is lovely. The volcano pool is fun, there's a small game room, and you can walk to the drugstore for anything you forgot. The post office for Lake Buena Vista is also right there.

Someone in my family goes there every year at least, and we've never been disappointed. If you rented one of the large condo-style units, bring your own laundry detergent or buy it at Publix. :) It's the cheapest place around. Goodings is fun, but it is really expensive (we usually go there for the pastries).

I haven't stayed in the newer unit, but the resort is clean, friendly, close to the WDW action, and fun! We save a lot when we stay there because we can eat breakfast in the room with the kitchenette.

In the bigger units, the master suite has a Jacuzzi tub and the smaller "lock-out" rooms have Roman tubs. A trip to Basin at the Disney Marketplace to pick up a few bath bombs makes the soak all the nicer after a long day at the parks (not that I always do that!). :lookaroun

Our family stayed there as part of a time share with TAN (travel advantage network) back in 1997. It was nice. Very bright and one of the better time shares we have stayed in throughout our time with the vacation club we belong to.

It's close to Crossroads at LBV if I remember correctly, so we went to Pebbles and Joes Crab Shack while we were there. However shopping at Goodings is more money then Publix. This might have chaged since Disney sold off Crossroads, but cant go wrong with Publix.
