Cycling / biker shorts for men

Just wear whatever you’d like. Absolutely no one is going to care what shorts you are wearing lol. Have fun!
Yes, they will absolutely care, but they may not say anything within earshot. However, you'll never see them again. I think spandex is a privilege, not a right, and I've seen many people wearing skin-tight pants/shorts/onesies that leave little to the imagination. Just rock the bikers under some. regular shorts, think of the children... and me.

Hi all. I have read threads about ladies wearing cycling shorts in the parks for comfort and practicality.
Do any guys wear these? My parter loves them as they are so comfortable, just wondered if any one else does? Wears them out at home happily enough…..
Only reason to wear them is if your legs are so fat that your inner thighs rub together and it would prevent your skin from chaffing.... Otherwise I don't see the point given it is just going to make you hotter than if you weren't wearing them.

Life Lesson #4762: If you have to ask folks if they think it will be okay to do something, it's probably best not to do it.
Life Lesson #4763: Even if you don't do it, somebody else will
Life Lesson #7339: For every rule there is a story (see Lesson #4763)

Reminds me of my old house, a neighbor used to wear a speedo and flip flops to mow his lawn... While some guys might get away with wearing speedos outside of a pool... 60 year old fat dudes with man aren't in that group.... To me speedos and spandex has its place and usually it is reserved to the sporting arenas where it makes sense.

Mud wrestling. You could wear them for that for sure!

Oh wait, that is a sport of sorts. 😛

The women I have seen mention wearing biker shorts are wearing them under dresses.
I dunno, I've seen plenty of women and children wearing bike shorts in the Orlando theme parks, but they tend to be the slightly loose-fitting ones. I've also seen plenty of women/girls wearing other workout clothing, including onesies (the kind that are a top+shorts all in one) and tennis dresses.

I do not think they are as common for men unless you mean the lined-style workout/basketball shorts. Those are quite common.

My only other thought is to say, when I'm choosing park clothing, I find it helpful to have pockets, but ymmv.

Time of year also matters when choosing FL attire. Yogawear is more common in warm months, when parkgoers want quick-dry clothing. In cooler months, yogawear is a little less common. Still something people wear on warm days, just not quite as much as summer.
