Cute WDW-DINE story

The other night my roommate and I decided on a whim it might be fun to do Cindy's breakfast. Unfortunately, it was a mere 85 days before our trip, and so we held little hope of actually getting a PS. But we called to try anyway.

We ended up speaking to Clancey, and indeed, were not able to get a PS for Cindy's. But determined to not hang up empty handed, we made a PS for Prime Time Cafe....three months in advance. Because, you know, we run the risk of getting shut out of that restaurant :brick::p

But anyway, as we were thanking Clancey and saying our goodbyes, he must have let his "at work" guard down, slipped into everyday life habits, and accidently said "Love ya! Bye!" So, next time your calling wdw-dine, ask for Clancey. He knows how to make you feel extra pretty.

Also, if we decide we want to try again for Cindy's, what are the odds of cancellations coming in and how often should we check back? Thanks, everyone.

Love ya! Bye!

 That is so cute! Just what was your attitude on the phone...all businesslike or playing around? It was probably the end of a shift...my nephew once asked for Minnie's autograph and the poor Cm signed her real name. :lookaroun

In regards to PS...some people call once a week or so while others call everyday. Cancellations do happen so if you really want to go keep trying.
Maybe your roommate & you can alternate on who makes the calls (say Hi to Clancy for me when he answers the phone. )

That is really funny! And sweet, Love ya, Clancey! I actually spent a good portion of yesterday on the phone making ps's, but no Cindy's breakfast for us, either. She did mention to call back and try for cancellations, but we are a group of twelve, the chances seem slim to none. We are happy with our ps for Norway. :)

Clancy, sweet Clancy

Yipee, I just registered for the forum!

As the object of Clancy's mistaken affection during the aforementioned accidental-automatic-good-bye moment, I wanted the Clancy thread to be my first post.

I promise to have more meaningful, informative posts in the future...

What the heck?

Eh, I'm still new around here, so I'll bite. What the heck is a PS?

PS would be the Disney equivilent of a reservation in a normal restaurant. Same idea, just that when you register you are in line for the next table for your party size, not that they are actually holding the table for you!!!
Hey Nicholas, If Cindy's for breakfast doesnt work out, what about for dinner?? I took two of my friends from work there in May and they LOVED the atmosphere even without the princesses walking around. It is a bit pricey ( I Usually go for the Kingdom Feast although I got a good review on the salmon also) but it is very good!!! In addition keep calling as people do cancel every day, but I would make a special effort to call 2 days before each of the days you want to go as that is the cut off point to cancel the PS with a full refund. Also Id try to walk up there if you are going to be in the park and see if there are any openings. Never hurts to try and with stuff like this, you just never know!!! Best of luck!!! Belle
