Custom Football Jerseys

I have a question. My mom wants a custom football jersey for her birthday here in 2 weeks, but at nfl shop website, they cost $150, and that's before tax and shipping. My brothers can only contribute so much and so can I.

Is there a good, reliable place that can do a custom jersey for a decent price with a good quality jersey and good quality everything?

Thanks!!

Do you want a NFL logo? If so, I doubt there are many out there due to copyright laws, etc. I don't know for sure, but that's just what I'd imagine.

I do agree that jerseys are insanely overpriced, though. There may be a discount code you can enter (they usually have free shipping and handling on purchases over a certain amount).

Yes, she wants a Cleveland Browns Jersey with her last name on the back. Might have to come up with another idea....

Well, you can also check the online shop site for the actual team but the prices are probably the same. Social media can also help to know about discounts and offers, as well. Honestly, it's hard to find decent NFL jerseys without having to fork over a ton of money. (I do agree they are ridiculously overpriced! :grumpy:) I mean, there are countless sites that offer a very tempting $60 for a jersey but are nothing but fake knockoffs from China. I assume you know about the three types of jerseys the NFL offers (Game, Limited and Elite) and their pricing but I mean, why customize it for $150 when a Nike Game costs $50 less and the Limited is about $15...unless it's customized or bust. (btw, I frown upon customized jerseys but that's because I'm a diehard sports fan who has some principles about buying and wearing jerseys!)

My thoughts: make sure the player is going to be with the team for years to come. That way you can guarantee quite a bit of use. Sorry Jets fans who own Revis jerseys, my advice wouldn't have helped there anyway.

I did manage to get an Aaron Rodgers Nike jersey for $30. It was on sale, and had Kohl's cash (free money for shopping at Kohl's). Well, I didn't manage to get it, but it was a Christmas gift to me. But still one heck of a bargain!

I don't know. I've seen the Nike Game jerseys in my local sporting good stores and I wasn't too impressed. (And it wasn't just the price!) The overall look was just not that appealing. A lot of people have said the Nike jerseys are extremely tight, particularly in the shoulders and sleeves. I, for one, only have a Reebok replica of Hakeem Nicks home jersey but considering that he could be a goner by the end of the season and my views of the Nike jerseys, I am pondering of just buying a throwback jersey from Mitchell and Ness because at least with throwbacks, you'll never have to fret about them leaving! (For my G-men, they have Simms, Harry Carson and Carl Banks throwbacks, which will all work fine if I need to switch jerseys because for me, I can't wear jerseys for former players unless they've retired their jersey with my favorite team.)

I'm a weird size, so a large would've been too small, and the XL I have now is a bit oversized, so I don't feel any tightness or anything. And I'm pleased with the look. It looks more realistic than the shiny Reebok ones, IMO.
