Currently planning - Crowd Calendar question

I'm currently planning our trip from 1st December - 14th December (can't wait!). I have a touringplans subscription for the crowd calendar which I've put into the itinerary. The only thing is, is there a crowd calendar for Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon (actually, is there one for Universal, Busch and Sea World as well?)

Typhoon Lagoon will be closed for refurbishment during that time. No crowd calendar for Blizzard Beach. We will also be here during this time and have been previous years. Not too crowded at the water parks in December any day of the week.

Fantastic thank for that, what about the universal resort and other parks?

you should be fine at blizzard beach. the weather bounces a lot at that time of year and you can have a day or two of really warm weather followed by one or two days where it's cold (by florida standards). most people who live down here think it's cold when it's in the upper 60s to low 70s during the day so you shouldn't have any problems at the water park. it's usually mid to upper 70s during the day at that time of year. the first two weeks of december is certainly less crowded than summer, regular, peak, or christmas through new years but it gets more crowded every year. the value/off season is certainly shrinking every year. you also have pop warner football and cheerleading going on around the second weekend of december so the kids hit the parks after they compete in the afternoon.

I certainly am not complaining about cheerleaders hitting water parks, that is for sure.

I live in the UK so upper 70's is like our summer! Thanks for the info

I can tell you from personal experience (not some website projection), that Saturday - Monday are on average the worst days to go to the Magic Kingdom as far as crowds are concerned. Most guests arrive to Disney World on the weekend, and naturally, everyone goes to the Magic Kingdom first. So if you want to wait in long lines and deal with hoards of grumpy people, I would wait a couple days to visit MK and visit one of the other parks first.

I'm going the last 2 days of Feb through the first week of March...everyone told me the crowds should be way down compared to when I went in October. I admit that I'm going to MK first, but I think the crowds may be less...am I right?

I am seriously thinking about joining touringplans.com. Is it worth it? We will be going a couple of times in the next year or so, so I would actually use it. But is it reliable? Or is it just statistics? TIA

Touring Plans is very reliable. I always use it and it has worked out great.
