Currently in EPCOT why so busy!?!?

Hubs is with the big kids on Misson Space and we have been here since 8:00 (one hour before open). It feels very packed and rides seem to be moving slow with longish wait times for January.
Did I miss something???

MLK weekend was last weekend (MLK day was January 16).

@Kristamouse the parks are busy all the time now.

Pro Bowl weekend. Maybe many people took off to come down for that. there really isn't a slow time any more. It really comes down to the level of busy.

I realise that... If you took advantage of the four-day workweek [17-20 Jan] that resulted from MLK day and both weekends, it would include yesterday...

Just to clarify we very much enjoyed our day,
Just seemed a bit congested. Like this week last year we noticed many South American families (no groups save one with quienceanera sp?) backpacks. I guess celebrated your 15th can now be done with a group at Disney...
