So zero reason for concern at the moment.

Well, he specifically referenced Europe and Latin America and one (possibly the only) Latin American country to which this restriction would almost certainly apply would be Brazil. So, perhaps it's just bluster, but I suspect there will be people involved in Florida tourism scrambling to make sure it doesn't mean what it most obviously appears to mean.

So, maybe zero reason for you personally to be concerned at the moment, but Disney would have reason to be concerned.

From what I heard, recruiting for Canadian ICP participants is becoming extremely difficult. For obvious reasons. Others are having issues, but Canadians aren't applying in the numbers WDW needs.

Who can blame them? I wouldn't want to come here, either.

UK and EU introduced them on countries they have free access to, visa-wise... It's a moneymaking scheme and nothing more. Bigger question is if the US is modifying the Visa Waiver Program, which is how the EU gets in (mostly). That'd be a huge deal for Disney on both sides of the country. Only Canadians and certain islands exist outside that program. Make the EU go through ESTA and it'd have a bigger impact on WDW than you think!

We travel from Britain every year (up until now, cancelled our trip this year and switched to Paris) and use ESTA's, I'm pretty sure the rest of the EU does also?

WDW will probably improvise again. For the staffing of the China ICPs during Covid time in the China pavilion , Epcot staffed China with domestic based CMs.

Why would a process make you feel that way? Spoiler, process and enforcement of rules isn’t something to get all in your feelings about. Lots of examples of bad outcomes for being loose. We have enough problems.

If one is able to afford and can go on vacation, go for it. There will come a time that your body will tell you no more travel vacations. Whether one will listen that’s another story..
