Hmmm....am I 'the person' b/c I said I was enthralled with this World Series? I thought it would be insensitive if I said that I'm a SF Giants fan (who were also beat out by the Cubs this year), because it's not like the Giants are hurting for a WS win. I may have been hoping for an Indians win but I still think it's great that the Cubs got it. That game 7 was intense, will probably never see anything like it again. Dad grew up in NYC watching the 1950s Yankees, so I was raised with an appreciation for the history of the game.

I was speaking up for all the bandwagon jumpers who can like any team they wish especially those who recently rushed towards the beloved Cubbies.

If that includes you, great, if not no worries, enjoy whom you enjoy but know you're going to lose to the Cubs in baseball.

I have never seen so many Cubs fans in one place ever in my life. The crowds where quite heavy but luckily I made it to my SM fast pass without too much trouble!

Shocked Bill Murray wasn't there since you know, he is representative of the WHOLE Cubs fan base...or at least Fox made me believe that.

Actually, Murray is our ambassador and Eddie Vedder is the our official minstrel.

Exactly see how many can name Cub players from the past seasons from the 80's and 90's. I grew up in The NW Burbs a long time fane even made it back for 8/8/88 a true Cubs fan will remember that date.

I still have my Sandberg jersey that I wear whenever I am at a baseball game...when it fits me...which it usually does not after a baseball game...

NOT a Cubs fan but being Boston fan I do understand how the Cubs fans feel after winning the World Series after a 110 year drought. With that Great Job 2016 Cubs!
