OK, wife and I are thinking about a trip for just the two of us in September. Looking at CSR Cabanas section. Was wondering about building 9a. It dont have to be 9a just that building looked convenient. But do they have king beds there if so what sections? Which room to be close to the hammocks and sandy beachfront? If the weather is nice will they care if we sleep in a hammock? Is the food court more expensive than other places? And are the referbs done? Thanks for feedback.

Rooms overlooking the lake in cabana 9a are 9108 to 9110, 9150 to 9153, 9170 to 9173, 9203 to 9210, 9250 to 9253 and 9270 to 9273.

Just remember that there is no guarantee that you get cabana 9a.

We did not stay in the Cabanas, we stayed in Racheros. We like it, as it was very close to the pool, but it was a little bit of a hike to the main building. If you are going to frequent the pool, 8A or B would be best. Closer to the pool, but also reasonable distance to the main building. If not, 9A or B would be best.

Food court is awesome. Yes, a little more pricey than regular food courts (and they expect tips there), but the food was great! The waffles with banana walnut were fantastic! As were the curry chicken salad sandwiches! Not to mention the fact they still have resort specific mugs!

Only complaint we had about CSR was that we wanted to rent a boat or bicycle, and it became a joke that "La Marina" was "La Closed" the whole trip. We were there spring break week (one of the busiest weeks of the year!) and it was closed everytime we went by! Other than that, we loved it!
