Is it just my poor memory or has this new roof lost some of the ornate nature of the previous one?

Does anyone have a picture of the old roof for comparison?

I quickly obtained this off a Google search. Like a minute ago. The roof in the original picture is off to the left, or, the "east" of this shot. Looks the same - same detail. However, that portion is not nearly so ornate as the larger center dome/glass roof.

They ripped all the lights and decoration off the roof, which is why it doesn't seem as ornate. It will look the same when it is done.

OOPs what a dobber used the wrong image I think is the same dome as the one youve used and to me it looks like somethings changed.

No matter, I think it probably looks different because they're still working on it.

Just give it some time. If they ripped the roof off my house to work on it I'm sure it wouldn't look the same till it was complete. But if the walls are still up and people are still up on top of the roof, it's not done. Plus, all detail work always comes last. Imagine trying to sculpt the eyeballs in a marble statue before the face was done. Impossible. But those are just my ideas.
