Wanting any and all opinions here.
How is breakfast?
How is dinner?
How do they compare (if you've been to both) food, atmosphere, etc.?
Thank you

Both are comparable... different Characters, both same quality regarding buffets. Each may have a few different offerings (breakfast at 1900 Park Fare has strawberry soup, Crystal Palace has Breakfast Lasagna and Pooh's Puffed French Toast. Aside from characters, your best best is to peruse allears.net and look over your options.

If you go for the evil step sisters, the interaction is great. Kids loved it! Little one even dressed as Drizella for Halloween :)

I prefer Crystal Palace , breakfast time. I'm more a fan of Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore, Piglet, with watching the fun kids have joining in on the Pooh parade.
1900 has at breakfast, Mary Poppins, Alice, Mad Hatter. At dinner... Lady Tremaine, Drizella, Anistasia, Prince Charming. Both have decent buffet food at lunch and dinner times that seem to vary in quality each time we go.

I am thinking of booking an 8 a.m. breakfast at Crystal Palace on a day that MK doesn't have early EMH so I can get into the park and take some pictures without people head's in the way. I have 2 DSs who will be 20 and 25 when we go in December, so they aren't particular about characters anymore ... although they may like the idea of the ladies in 1900 Park Fare...LOL

We prefer breakfast at both. I give a slight edge to Crystal Palace for breakfast because I love the pre park opening ADR option and the breakfast lasagna is deeeelish! Still, the food at 1900 breakfast is still very good and Mary Poppins, Alice and hatter are more fun to me...plus you still get Tigger and Pooh. For dinner, 1900 would be my choice. While not mind blowing, the food was noticeably better at 1900 dinner vs CP dinner. The character experience at 1900 dinner with the stepsisters and Lady Tremaine (sp?) Is also more fun to me.

We've only done Breakfast at 1900 and only done Dinner at Crystal Palace. Enjoy them both. We just prefer to be in the MK at night.

Marching along...
Done them both numerous times and I would vote for Crystal Palace for breakfast and 1900 PF for dinner. They both have good food, but nothing really amazing. I give the nod to CP for breakfast because of the breakfast lasagna and 1900 PF for dinner because of the character interaction - nothing beats the step sisters.

Been to both, multiple times!!! For me I really like the brunch at 1900, much better food fare, better array of fruits and vegies. Love the characters at both. BUT, my husband is especially enamored with the Mad Hatter at 1900. He really is fun for the gentlemen in the crowd. We frequently plan an early dinner at CP. We do a very early breakfast (all the better to hit rope drop), kind of snack around MK, maybe CS-we're easy, and then get out for a snooze or pool time in the afternoon. We then have an ADR for 4 or 4:30 (pre dinner crowd). That way we miss all the worst of the crowds. Both for touring and dining. 1900 is a late am brunch for us, either going to Typhoon Lagoon, AK, or HS for the afternoon and/or evening. I gotta agree about the step sisters though! They are FUNNY! Now I def have to plan to reverse this for our trip in December! LOL Food for thought!

On this trip we went to Crystal Palace for breakfast and just had 1900 Park Fare for breakfast today. My son and I both agreed with each other that 1900 Park Fare is worth leaving the park for because it's far better than Crystal Palace.

Agree with above. Having done both many times, we vote for CP for breakfast due to early park entry (no rides, just neat to see park not crowded) and 1900 for dinner due to sisters.

I love 1900 Park Fare dinner, the food is good and the characters have the best interaction of any character meal I've been to. The strawberry soup is amazing. I like both meals at Crystal Palace , just like 1900 Park Fare better than Crystal Palace.

On our trip last month we ate at 1900 Park Fare & were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant had mixed reviews but, we thought the food was excellent! The only disappointment was that the Wicked Stepmother wasn't there. Anastasia was hilarious! (she flirted with my 23yr old Stepson) Prince Charming was great too! He liked my DGS's shirt that said: The "REAL PRINCE CHARMING". We have also eaten at Crystal Palace on a past trip for breakfast & it was also excellent! Breakfast Lasagna is to die for!!!
