Which is the best meal to have at Crystal Palace?

We have a reservation for dinner there, but I'm hearing about this "to-die-for-breakfast-lasagna" and I'm smitten!

ETA: What IS the breakfast lasagna? I'm looking at google pictures but can't decipher what I'm seeing.

In the past, I have done all three meals here. Breakfast, is outstanding! The breakfast lasagna, pooh's puffed french toast and made to order omelettes are exquisite!!!

Yep breakfast every time for us! It is not just the food it is the best breakfast buffet and the character interaction is to die for! We are Me, DH and DS11 and we all look forward to this one.

Breakfast!! I want a whole suitcase of Pooh's stuffed french toast!! :p

We did dinner once. It was a very nice "wedding reception" meal at the prettiest building with the most huggable characters.

Breakfast is wonderful! We prefer this buffet over dinner. It's also a great way to start your day right in the hub of the best place on earth!:happy:

Breakfast...definitely breakfast!

I am going to attach some breakfast lasagna pics as soon as I can find them in my albums, but it doesn't do it justice. I mean, it just doesn't photograph well, but it is amazing! The top gets a crust like creme brulee and all of the sweet creams/custards/fruits/etc. just come together so nicely.

For any Character meal or buffet I always recommend Lunch or Dinner. It costs a little more, but you get more quality food choices and desserts. I mean the breakfast consists of eggs, waffles, pancakes, etc..all inexpensive items. I am shocked so many people are saying breakfast. No matter it's all good :hungry:

Mind you, it all boils down to personal preferences, but in the case of character buffets...a number of them are lacking in quality for lunch and dinner. For Chef Mickey's, the dinner food was downright vile and Crystal Palace lunch and dinner was palatable- at best. As for breakfast, they usually have more than the basics and that helps. In fact, the family style character breakfast at 'Ohana is probably the only one where the food really feels like a rip off.

I would only eat at Crystal Palace for breakfast, and it's always been good. Lunch and Dinner are basically the same as you would get at every other buffet.

We love the breakfast there and prefer that dining. We have gone for lunch and dinners, they were OK meals but were not as special. Like the post above says... its nothing out of the ordinary.
