That link didn't go where I wanted it to go. The one below should go straight to a video of the basic ride system, without enhancements.

my computer doesn't have windows media player 9 so i cant play the video, however i think i know which design you mean.
is it the spinning one where you are sat back to back.and it is a LIM indused coaster,if that is what you mean i have rode a design similar to that here in britain and it was really cool.

I watched the video and it seemed that there was a lift hill. But it still looked pretty sweet. Although I would prefer a Lim launch system.

ah so it is the same as the ride hear in britain.
upon looking at the supposed track layout for "crushes", it would be really cool if for the first part, the dark ride section (refer to the layout),the ride was like a flat slow dark ride ala spiderman at IOA with a few sudden accelerations.
and then when it gets to the E.A.C bit (again refer to the track layout)it was like a ordinary coaster track, but with LIM lauched start of it.
it would be cool if the restrains were in 2 stages and when you are on the dark ride section it is just a simple lap bar but at the point where you gop into the E.A.C bit, there is the classic "grab shell dude"and the x restraints come down.

We still need to get MGM to build the ride. I'm leaving for disney in about 4 days. I'm going to bring it up to some people that work there. I dont know if it will do any good. If it doesnt we will go with your plan you mentioned earlier!

Spinball Whizzer at Alton Towers?
Same sort of ride...but a different layout.
