Crush's Coaster in AK?

First off, Wikipedia isn't always accurate, but they have design pics so i think this is true.

I think the Crush's Coaster concept for Disney Studios in Paris is AWESOME. The new Nemo "Theature in the Wild" doesn't fit the theming of neighboring Lands of Dinoland U.S.A and Asia, so I think they could make a new "Ocean" themed area in the area around the Nemo show. They could eaisly put Crush's Coaster in the area because they would have already designed the ride for Paris so all they would have to do is build the ride. Another question is if the Nemo show will last long enough to build a land around it or if it will be an 8 year attraction like Tarzan.

Yes. Another Roller Coaster. Now they are making AK better then before.

This ride is confimed for Toon Studios in DLP. I'm just speculating the posibility of putting this ride in the AK. Or, they could put the ride in MGM since the park needs a "kid-friendly coaster" type ride (not many kids ride Star Tours, ToT, or RnRC)

I wouldnt like this coming to any of the parks unless they drop the Nemo show. I LOVE finding nemo but 3 attractions from that movie is total over saturation IMHO. I do like the ocean theme, that would be very cool.

Besides, we can saturate the parks with other Pixar based attractions like a bunch of Incredibles and Cars stuff. Also, actually build a Lion King ride instead of just shows, the movie deserves it.

seconded - that is the best disney film EVER!

although, pixar movies are more popular as they are the most recent disney movie.... i dont say the pixar movies shouldnt be made into rides - but it would nice to see something from the 2d studios that aint sodding lilo and stitch! outside of the pixar scope :lookaroun

we probably wouldn't get it in same form as DLP, considering that this coaster will be their application of the Nemo hologram tech that we're getting at The Living Seas, and Disneyland is getting at the Submarine Voyage

I hope we don't get the crush coaster. As some of you have already stated, we have PLENTY of finding nemo attractions coming to the "world". Imho I think we have plenty of Pixar attractions period. Your idea about a sea themed land is a wonderful concept though, and one I hadn't thought of before.

YES! I have been saying this for a long time! It is one of the all time best Disney films ever. I think it deserves more than a show and lame movie, but thats just me.

AK desperately needs a dark ride.......I think a origonal ocean dark ride idea (not one based on a movie) would be great for a Ocean themed land around new Nemo Show <if they ever use the land around the show>.........there is soooooo much great space for AK to expand in all areas of the park

The Crush coaster that's going into DSP is a really nice, fairly intense, custom-layout Maurer-Sohne spinner.
Not really that similar to Primeval Whirl (the portable Reverchon spinning wild mouse), but close enough that it won't show up at AK. Probably not coming to WDW at all.

So they will use the Nemo hologram for the dark ride portion. I was wondering what they would do with the dark ride section that had so much potential.

It does look neat...and pretty intense too.

Lee - I'm sure loading and unloading stations are customed designed for this ride, but the track layout is very similar to Spider at a theme park called Lagoon something. I'll try and find some pictures.
