I rode all 3 a number of times. My favorite was the pineapple plunger but all three have slides have three drops. I would give it a 9 out of 10 the slides were not as long as I expected. The lines move fast so the wait was no more than 10 minutes,

Do you have to ride with another person?
no, but they recommend of course so the lines move faster....... but you can ride single. supposivly you get better hangtime off the hills............ that makes sense in a physics standpoint.
lol

Two words. Runoff Rapids.....every year i go back hoping that they will have installed a conveyor belt to take tubes to the top, and it wudnt be that hard to hide it if thats a reason why it still hasnt happened yet. Hopefully one day they will insert a conveyor belt there.

And the pics are great! Cant wait until July to ride it!

adding a conveyor means that you have to hire at least 2 more employees to work it............ and that cant happen becuase unemployment is at 0%. there just isnt any workers available.

Great pics. I hope to get over to Typhoon soon to try it out. I saw over at Kevin Yee's article that the slides are almost 35 seconds long. The general consensus are the slides are short, but if that time is true, I consider that pretty decent for any water slide. I've never timed any of the slides before, but most other water slides don't seem that long. I do know though that the original Master Blaster is over 1000 feet long (compared to the average 420 feet of each of CnG's slides), but I've also heard the throughput on it is awful and the lines get extremely long. If three shorter slides mean greater capacity and shorter lines, that's fine by me. Especially since all three slides sound to provide a different experience.

The overall themeing looks nice as well. It looks like from some photos a few more plants, palm trees, etc. could be used as it looks sparse from some angles, but other than that it definetely looks to have that tropical, typhoon destroyed, rusted-out fruit washing facility look to it (complete with cargo netting strewn all over the place across the "washing chutes" as a result of the typhoon). I like the sign for the fictional "Tropical Amity" factory (pic at miceage) which has been ripped apart so that the one end just spells out "calamity". Nice touch.
