Cruise with or without infant

Maybe someone here can save me a phone call to DCL....my wife and I plan on going on a Disney cruise for our 2 year anniversary, already have the dates picked out (just waiting on tax refund to come in). Our little one will be almost one and a half by then, and we were thinking of leaving her with the grandparents (we are assuming by that age we will be alright with leaving her for a few days, kind of hard to think of doing so now though, haha!). My question is, what happens if the grandparents for some reason can't do it??? Should we go ahead and include her on the reservation now or add her later if things fall through? Has anyone had to remove or add someone at the last minute? (and by last minute I am assuming we would know for certain at least 3-4 weeks ahead of sailing.)
Thanks!

That's tricky. To avoid penalties, you would want to remove her before the 75 day mark. You wouldn't pay a penalty to add her, but you run the risk of your category being full and not being able to add her. If a category gets full, they will not let you add people into rooms, even if the room has enough beds.

You may want to add her for now and see how big of a penalty you're facing. It may not be very much and may be worth it. :)

My daughters will be ten months old by the time we cruise next March. They are coming with us. It will be a totally brand new experience and we are looking forward to being announced as an actual family of four and not two.
