Crowds, Weather, in September

Hello everyone...I'm planning my first trip to the west coast mouse and I had a couple questions hopefully some of the Disneyland experts could answer.

1) Whats the weather like in September (temp, rain, sunny, etc)?
2) Best clothing to pack?
3) How are the crowds in mid-September? During the week? On weekends?
4) When do kids go back to school in the LA School District?

Thanks for any help you can provide! :)

1) the weather should be warm. mid 70s-mid 90s. But our weather changes all the time. It might be warm one year, and cold the next. It's never constant.

2) pack shorts and t-shirts for the day, bring jeans and a light jacket for night time. And don't forget the bathing suite (and sunscreen :))!

3) weekend crowds are always horrific, try to avoid them. The week should be pretty empty, especially in the morning. The parks are always empty for the first 2-3 hours. Later on in the day shouldn't get much more crowded.

4) everyone is back in school by the first week of September, right after Labor Day.

We went last Sept and I loved it. It was VERY hot & humid but we had no more that a 10 minute wait all week. It was great. Even with the heat you are in & out of attractions so it's not to bad. :)
