Crowds, weather and stuff

Hey kids,

I'm looking for a little planning info here. I'm seriously thinking about making a Disney West visit soon. Having never been, I'd like a little input.

The things I really try to avoid at WDW are heat and crowds (and Vince). :lookaroun

I'm wondering if these are similarly key factors at DL.

Checking the weather for Anaheim this week, I see they're not getting too far above 85, which is dream weather compared to Florida in July.

What about school crowds? The pragmatist in me says wait until after Labor Day, but the 5-year-old in me doesn't wanna. I just checked the L.A. school district (since I've heard that DL caters more to locals than WDW), and see that they don't start back until the first week of September.

Soooo the real question: Will waiting until the middle of September result in a significantly cooler, less crowded DL than say, the last week of August? (I know Vince simply can't be planned for, and it's a chance we all have to take.)

If that’s the case, avoid going in December. :p
September is still considerably warm, but you get the small crowds. I say wait and go with the September trip.

Hey, this means I get to meet you soon.
