Crowds mid september?

Sept 21 to the 26 and CAN'T WAIT!! We were there last year as well. The love bugs were out last year and the worst I saw was AK in Dinoland. We were on Hester and Chester's (I have 2+3 year olds) and they were every where in that small area and stunk!! My then 2 1/2 year old told me they were "t's__________g" LOL. I didn't notice them anywhere else but our car, which we hosed off when we left to go home. I think they can hurt your car paint.

My family went last year in late September and the crowds were perfect--not crowded and not empty either. Like was said earlier, Soarin' had a line like usual, but otherwise I don't remember any waits beyond about 20 minutes. The lovebugs were out for us too, they were really bad when we took the ferry from Port Orleans Riverside to Downtown Disney. It was pretty hot and humid and a T-storm stopped Everest right before I got on :brick: but it reopened pretty quickly. We're going back this year Sept. 8-14 and can't wait!

i've only ever been in september, my thinking was that most of the kids are back at school so it wont be as busy, so far my thinking had paid off, each time we've been, the most we've ever had to queue was about 20 minutes, which is ok, i really hate queueing.
We're there from 13th - 27th of september this year, it's getting nearer :sohappy: :sohappy:

going on 9/16-9/21. went three years ago same week and it was extremely empty. Walked on most rides with only M:S having any kind of wait and it was like 35min.
can wait to go in 5 weeks

We will be there Sept 14 thru the 17th flying home on the 18th. How bad re the crowds on the weekend? We usually go in May, but we are making a special trip so my daughter can do the MNSSHP before she starts "big" school next year.

The weekends just seem really bad because during the week it's not. The weekends are still better than any day during the summer rush! Don't worry, you've picked a great time!

Thanks! I am just hoping it is not toooo packed - because I really want to enjoy the experience. I cant wait for the halloween party!!!! I know she will have a blast.
