Crowds last week of August

Hi all, we're going the last week in August, 22-30, was wondering what the crowds are like then. We've been a couple of weeks before this time, and its been really busy, but I've heard the crowds drop the 3rd week due to the kids going back to school in the states (we're in Canada). And I know it will be hot, but being a teacher, I really have no choice!
Take care

We went the last week in August years ago and it was not very crowded at all. We purchased tickets for the E-ride Night n/k/a Evening Extra Magic Hours and the park was so empty. We walked on everything and had lots of fun with characters in the Castle Forecourt. The only downside to the trip was the heat & humidity. Every day reached almost 100 and the humidity was horrible.

Hi! We were there during that week last year (2008) and it was great! The crowds were very light and the park hours were good. We also took advantage of the EMHs because the temps were cooler at night. During the day, we had one of those water bottles with the fans attached, which helped. Epcot is a good park to visit on hot days since there is a lot to do indoors, and also they have several misters and splash areas to cool off in. We also used the hotel pool during the afternoon to cool off, and treated ourselves to a day at Typhoon Lagoon. Overall, we had a great trip! Hope yours is the same:wave:

We've been the week prior to Labour Day the last two years [this year it's more the first week of September than the last of August]. Crowds are manageable, heat is insane but still had a great time. Yes, the local area schools are back in session mid-August, so that reduces the crowds during the week.

We'll be arriving the 29th.

It also rains a lot.

We normally go this time of year and it pretty much rains once a day and then gets really hot again. Remember to bring your ponchos. Hope this helps and enjoy!

We've gone the last week in August on several occasions and will be doing it again this August.

It's hot and steamy and there is usually a daily storm. Try to plan your day so you have time to rest back at your hotel or in the pool. The parks are open late, so leave during the hot afternoons and then return later.

The crowds are managable. Have a great trip! :)
