Crowds in Sept.

Hi everybody!

I have a trip booked to WDW on Sept 15th (i'm SO excited). I know typically that Sept is a slow time of year there. Does anybody know what the projections are for crwods then? I'm a little worried it's going to be a madhouse since they ran that Sept Dreamamker deal and it looks like the parks have pretty long hours.

I was there on my honeymoon last Oct. and it was MOBBED, so I'm hoping for a few less people to show up!

Thanks!

Going 9/14-9/21, and we've always gone in Sept: 2001, 2003. The longest line you'll wait in is 30 mins, if at all. Most of the time we just walked right on the rides. Just stay away from the MK on Saturday. It was extremely busy then. You'll go through the parks so fast you won't believe it. It does rain for about 30 mins each afternoon, but take cover then or have lunch. I promise it clears up quickly and gets beautiful again.

I am visiting the world between the 2nd and the 16th Sept - celebrating my 21st birthday on the 8th! This is the 2nd time that I have been to WDW in Sept and I absolutely love it. It does rain most days in the afternoon but it soon clears up, the crowds are really low and you can walk onto most rides. This year has the added bonus of longer park hours! Which I really going to take full advantage of!

Have great trips everyone and who knows I might see you there.

September is the best time to go for these reasons.

1. It is still warm, yet not suffocating as it would be in July or August.
2. Crowds are light, but not so light as that it would be depressing.
3. It is the least expensive time of year to go.

The only drawback I see is that it does rain every day, or at least in my experience. But it is your typical Florida summer shower, around 3pm in the afternoon and about 30 minutes then gone. Another potential drawback is that September is hurricane season, and that is so unpredictable. A couple of years ago we just barely missed one and that was a little too close for comfort. :)

Good luck on your trip
We are planning on going back next year in September :sohappy:
