Crowds in November!?!

I have a trip booked for Thanksgiving week, including a few days before and after Thanksgiving, just because that's when the friends I'm going with have the time off. However, I'm pretty worried about ther crowds... Can anyone tell me what it's like several days before and after Thanksgiving?

Thank you very, very much!

The entire week of Thanksgiving will probably be very crowded. I was a cp in MK in 2002 and I worked over 60 hours that week, we were so busy. Don't worry too much though. You should still enjoy your trip even with the crowds. You most likely will not see everything. Also, arrive early to get fast passes for any can't miss attractions.

I can already tell you that's it really busy. Things are packed down here already, plus Mickey's Not So Scary is sold out every night right now. Character Dining experiences are insane and wait times in the parks for attractions are getting longer. Definitely start early, and get fastpasses is the best advice I can offer you. Sometimes too, if you go a little later at night for some of the parks, it's not as crowded. For example, if you go to MGM right before Fantasmic, that will be your shortest wait time for ToT and RnRc (or at least that's what it's been for me). Good luck and have a magical stay! :)

I have visited WDW during Thanksgiving weekend and it is packed. Having visited during the least crowded time of year previously, I must say that Thanksgiviing weekend was a mad house. However if you are a Disney addict as I am, you will have a blast regardless.

Because of the christmas lights desplay, I noticed the parks fill up more during late afternoon and evening. As the others said, start early and get fastpasses for the big attractions. As long as you can work around the crowds you will have a blast.

How about the week after Thanksgiving? That's when we're going. We'll be arriving on the 27th and leaving on the 2nd of December. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks to all.

This is around the same time I am going as well and I'm a little worried about crowds because when I wanted to add another night onto my trip, I had to call back 3 different days because they were telling me they had nothing available for that last night. I asked the girl making the reservations for me if this was a crowded time of year, and she said usually no and that she was surprised about the lack of rooms. She also said that I shouldn't be too worried about the crowds. I hope she's right! :veryconfu

This will be my 5th or 6th trip going down on Black Friday. As it's been stated, Thanksgiving weekend is a madhouse no matter which park you go to. The Monday after Thanksgiving thru Thursday it seems to calm down a ton. The weekend after Thanksgiving is busy, but nothing compared to Thanksgiving. For those going Thanks. weekend be warned, you need a lot of patience. Especially for the E rides. I highly recommend doing MVMCP if you can.
