We are planning on going to Uni for a week from the 23rd-30th. Meaning the week of thanksgiving. Based on the calendars I find online, I see it's slow that weekend and mon-wednesday, with it being moderate/busy from t-day on. Can anyone confirm? Thanks :)

I went November 17th this year, and we walked on everything. So you'll be good before Thanksgiving. I can't say what the crowds will be like after Thanksgiving, though. I can remember the wait times of the rides I rode throughout the day:

Universal's Islands of Adventure, 9 AM - 11:30 AM
The Cat in the Hat - 0 minutes
Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey - 5 minutes
Dragon Challenge - 5 minutes
Jurassic Park River Adventure - 0 minutes
The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man - 25 minutes, 5 with single rider
The Incredible Hulk Coaster - 15 minutes, 0 with single rider

Universal Studios Florida, 11:30 A.M. - 6:00 P.M.
Shrek 4-D - 10 minutes
Hollywood Rip, Ride, RockIt - 15 minutes, 0 with single rider
Revenge of the Mummy - 25 minutes, 0 with single rider
The Simpsons Ride - 45 minutes (longest of the day!)
Men in Black: Alien Attack - 25 minutes, 0 with single rider

We finished the night by walking around Islands of Adventure and soaking up the atmosphere. We also did Dragon Challenge again, and there was a 0 minute wait. If you don't have Express Pass and you don't feel like waiting if it's 20+ minutes, then single rider is a very, very good option. We used it many times throughout the day.

You just got me so happy/excited I can't explain. I have been to disney so many times I can't keep count. However I am green when it comes to Universal. I figured November would be a good time to go. Thanks for the reply!!! Happy holidays!

We did a split Universal/WDW stay Thanksgiving 2012, spending Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday (Thanksgiving Day) at Universal. It definitely was crowded. From memory, wait times were along the lines of FJ 60 minutes, Spider-Man 50 minutes, Jurassic Park River Adventure 0 minutes (it was cool the entire week and all water rides were walk-ons), Simpson 45 minutes, Despicable Me 60 minutes, Dragon Challenge 10 minutes. The afternoon showing of the Eighth Voyage of Sinbad was absolutely full, not a seat to be had.

WWOHP was very crowded every time were went there but never reached the point where they were not letting people in.

whenever you go... NOT AFTER CHRISTMAS. lol i learned that the hard way this year
Oh I know that. Thats pretty much across the board at anytime. I remember being in Orlando (during new years weekend) for a work function, and we went to downtown disney....holy crap was it busy. Could barely move. Waited 25 minutes to get a smithwicks at Raglan Road.

I learned that too this year...

And if crowds get worse the closer you get to Thanksgiving Day, then single rider or Express Pass become better and better options. And if you're looking at the Orlando Informer calendar, it's always been right for me.
