Since Easter is on March 31, the last week of March and first week of April will be crowded. If you are going later in April, the crowds should not be too bad! The weather could be variable...not cold, but maybe not comfortable for the water parks, either. Again, it all depends...it could be 90, you never know! Just take it day by day.

As stated avoid the week after Easter and the crowds won't be a problem.

The weather in April can be wet, temperature is no problem. Of all our trips we endured the most rain in April. It didn't ruin the trip by any means, just seem to have more morning showers.

You may need to change your plans on the fly to deal with the rain. PS changes didn't seem to be a big problem and we made several on short notice as we changed our designated waterpark days.

The only other advice I would give is watch for the operating hours, the summer schedule has not yet started in April.

There is a down period between Easter and July 4th that Is ideal for going...so try to squeeze in there. The weather in Florida is something hard to predict..but..as usual..expect rain at any time...and temperatures at around 75-85...

Except for NYE, I think the crowdest I´ve seen the parks has been Easter. If you can avoid that specific week, like Marcia suggests, you´ll be fine. The weather is not that hot yet, so you will get a nice tan without suffering as much as in June, July, August... Ah! and it doesn´t rain as a sure thing (at 3:30pm) like in the previously mentioned months! ;)

Stop me if you’ve heard any of this already… As long as you avoid the week of and the week after Easter…. ;)

Seriously, it’s a really iffy month for the weather. You don’t have to worry about it being cold or anything, but the rain could be a factor. I usually tell people to go to the drug store and pick up those little rain ponchos that are folded up to the size of a mans wallet to take into the parks. That way, you have them exactly when you need them and they sell 2 for $1 rather than spending $6 to walk around in a bright yellow one. Also, their easy to ditch (because of the low investment in them) once the weather clears up :)

You know according to the Official Book (Birnbaum) april is the month with the least amount of rain....all I have heard is the possiblity of rain showers. Not that rain will ruin my trip, cause I have been in september (rainy season) and didnt get wet at all. But the week that was pin pointed is the week after easter....arriving on april 6th and leaving on the 12th....thank you guys for all the info, it has really helped!
