crowds for the golf classic????

I know it's next week and all... I was just wondering for anyone who went last year... Did you notice any difference in the crowds in the parks or was it any different getting reservations for hotels, etc...

It biring some moderate crowds into the parks, but the coarse itself is PACKED!! Reservations can sometimes be hard to come by.

We were there for part of the trip during the classic which started at the beginning of our stay and the crowds were worse for it, but not unbearable. You could tell when it ended because the crowds lightened up. Some did stay over just to continue a vacation at WDW, though.

What course is the classic on and what the name of the classic itself?

Funai Classic and it's held on the Palm and the Magnolia courses and I'm not sure if they use the other courses for the first couple of days before the cut...
