As you can see by my siggy, thats when I'm going too. We always go between Sept. and November. Crowds are pretty good. Dont expect it to be empty, because its not; but they are lighter than normal. :D

We have been in September twice before and are going again thsi September. It is certainly better than the summer months but there will still be some crowds. The free dining always adds to the crowds. Still a great time to go though. I can't wait for September to get here.

We have gone the same 10 days in September for the last 10 years. We start the Saturday after Labor Day, a day after your start this year.

It is our favorite time to go. Low crowds, heat is tolerable. We've had different experiences with rain each year. Some years not a drop, others wetter. Very rarely has it rained for a long period of time or slowed us down.

We did have one tropical storm and one hurricane but those didn't overly affect us.

Can't wait for to get down there again.

Its a good time of year to go; the crowds are lighter and the weather is a bit cooler. We went last year at that time and were able to walk on alot of rides, but don't expect anything less than a 60 min. wait for TSMM :ROFLOL:

Hey Dany! Welcome to the boards!

As per everyone else that responded, you've selected one of the absolute BEST times to go. Especially since it's after Labor Day! I went Sept of '07, Sept of '09, and I am currently planning a trip for Sept of '11.

Now i should mention we do not have any school age children right now, so we have freedom of traveling any time of the year we would like.

Pros for Sept: Kids across country back in school, free dining if you so choose to partake, heat bearable (don't let me fool you though, it's still hot), Food and Wine Festival at Epcot, and finally if you go late enough in Sept, Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party... we did the latter for the 1st time last year and it was the best time we've ever had at WDW!

REALLY nice time to visit!!! I usually go in January, and never have big crowds, but my hubby and I went for our honeymoon last year September 14th-21st and it was FABULOUS!!!

It was still pretty hot, s we went to the parks early in the am and after dinner when the sun went down.

ENJOY YOUR TRIP!!

Welcome DanyQP!

I'll throw my hat in the ring about going to The World in September. It is one of the best times to go. We have made multiple trips in that time period and will be doing it again from Sept. 11-18.

Plan your dining ressies NOW!

Enjoy your trip!

We were there last Sept. 10-16 and it was great. One day we rode Exped. Everest 7 times in a row with no wait , then park hopped to the Studios and rode Rockin Rollercoaster 6 times with very very little wait ( 5 min at most ) , then rode Tower of Terror 5 times back to back , hopped over to Magic Kingdom and rode Haunted Mansion and Big Thunder about 4 or 5 times during Extra Magic Hours. We used fastpass a few times , but except for Toy Story Midway and Soarin' , it really wasn't needed . We gave our fastpasses away most of the time ! We're planning on another Sept. trip next year .
