Crowd Levels in April

My family is thinking about planning a trip from April 3-9. We are figuring that since its two weeks after Easter, the Spring Break crowd should have left by then and since the big celebrations start just a month later most people would wait for that. Does this make sense to you guys?

I Think April 3rd is one week after Easter?

In which case I think the crowds might still be a bit high especially on the weekend. I would guess that the first two weeks of April will be fairly busy... then a down week or so....and then pick up a bit for the Celebration...

All this is just my opinion though :)

You're right it is one week after Easter, but Spring Break will be over for almost all high/middle/elementary schools at that point so there should be a decent drop, right?

I've been in April after Christmas and the crowds were nice and light. I was there end of April last year and saw a school band from your town playing in Magic Kingdom! I noticed the town name because I was at the time in rehearsals for the musical "Parade", I took it as a good omen and indeed it was, the show was a great success.

That is spring break for us here in Georgia. April 3-8th. I have been during spring break in previous years and it is typically crowded. A lot of people from Ga go to disney during spring break. Not sure about this year though.

Yeah, I'm from Georgia and having just moved here from the Midwest we were suprised to see Spring Break start a week after Easter week. We always had it the week of Easter.

That is still also considered peak season and according to attendance history that is considered to be in the Highest attendance category. Highest attendance mid March thru mid April (spring break). Peak season goes back to value April 17th.

Technically, Peak goes to Regular season on April 17th. Value doesn't happen until Late July I think....

We are going from 4/10 to 4/16, and could not book Contemporary Tower, it was full, and had to get Garden Wing. It seems that crowds will be up this year at that time. Hope not, though!
