Crowd expectation - May 20 - 25 2006

What are the crowds typically like in later May, but before Memorial Day weekend?? Thanks!!

I'd say mildly crowded to crowded... schools will be getting out around that time in Florida

Park hours are usually a good predictor. When the MK is open 9 am to 10-11 pm daily, expect the crowds--and that is the case when you are visiting.

I will be there from May 18-23. Star Wars Weekends will be there the 19-20th and hope to enjoy that. Touring Plans.com (http://www.touringplans.com/BestDays.htm) has just up'd the crowd rating for that week as well. Kind of bummed about that but, it is what it is. I am sure I will have a lot of fun. I am hoping it will not be too bad. Just have to remember to pace myself. See ya there :wave:

Past trends posted in some of the guidebooks shows that summer crowds don't start to form until June.

However, Disney had good attendance last year, and there are good indicators that it will be even better this year. We are arriving on May 21, and when I called LAST MONTH to reserve our rooms at AKL, NO STANDARD VIEW ROOMS were available. I had to pay more to book a pool view room. This hurt my budget a little, but I found a way to balance it out.

So, I would predict...be prepared for good crowds.
