Crowd calendars?

How acturate would you say crowd calendars are? And which one doe you think is the best. I've looked at ones from undercover tourists, touring plans, and they seem to be a little different on their choices. Does anybody use crowd calendars to help plan their trips?

None of them are crystal balls. I tend to just look at a couple of them and overlap their months to see if there's an overarching pattern. They'll all tell you the last 3 weeks of September and the first couple weeks of October are "slow" weeks and they're right. What it doesn't tell you is that from about 11:30AM through the rest of the day Epcot is packed because of the Booze Festival. We went the first week of October and our longest line of the entire week was about 40 minutes for Kali River Rapids. Everthing else we literally walked right up into the ride house and were probably only 4-5 people deep for each ride. However, Epcot was packed in the afternoons and it was unfortunately with drunks the later it got into the day.

I use touring plans, they are not perfect but pretty close. It gives me an idea at least a 10 don't want to go then, a 5 go but expect some waiting, and under 5 go for it. I usually use them to decide what day to go to what park.

I have used the touringplans one and I suppose it is as accurate as it can be, but it isn't 100%, I don't think. I also don't think it matters all that much. They tell you that a good plan is far more important than going on a "best day" and I believe it.

After becoming "a local" I stopped even thinking about it. I go to the park I feel like visiting without even considering whether its a best or worst day. I avoid most of the parks in the summer, though. :) Just too busy.

I have found touring plans to be pretty accurate. Most if it is common sense. Christmas New Years Easter summer etc are very crowded.
