Thats one dish that doesn't appeal to me.
Have you ever had it??????? Thats the real question. The best I ever had was in St. Remy de Provence.
Yes. Many years ago I was at a country house hotel where game ( pheasant,duck,grouse,Quail,etc ) was on the menu.One of the starters was Foie Gras,( goose livers ) in a terrine form ( pâté ) I first gave it a wee smell, ( phew ) then tasted it.Everyone to their own taste but it wasn't my cup o tea.

Pate is one of the few things that I just can't eat! I want to like it so I keep tryng it and it is not growing on me!Yes. I have had pate before and enjoy it,but the Foie Gras was just not for me.Funny because I quite like Duck ( crispy peeking ) but Goose Ive had and found it very strong.

Just wash it down with a little whiskey won't notice the goose after a while!I have had pate before and enjoy it,but the Foie Gras was just not for me.Funny because I quite like Duck ( crispy peeking ) but Goose Ive had and found it very strong.

Does the Tipsy Duck drink from China count?I have had pate before and enjoy it,but the Foie Gras was just not for me.Funny because I quite like Duck ( crispy peeking ) but Goose Ive had and found it very strong.

I have tried many of the WDW recipes. My favorites to make at home are Mama Melrose's chicken parm with the tomato basil sause, Le Cellier's cheese soup, and Boma's potatoes with Afritude (although I don't think they serve these at boma any more).

There are all sorts of pate, not just duck liver. If you like meat and don't mind the texture there has to be one for you.

Ya I am pretty sure I had Salmon Pate and really liked it. I promise I will keep trying them.
