Last night me and my friend had a chance to go see Disney on Ice out here in Chicago and I needed a Disney Fix since I'm at a 130 days until my next trip to the World. Well, like me being a big fan I needed to bring something Disney related home for my collection...One in particular..Which was this....

What you are looking at is a Souvenir from Disney on Ice...Rapunzel's Frying Pan....Yes, They REALLY Sell this...And I HAD To get it..It's probably the weirdest and most curious souvenir I ever got..It's really light weight, the pan part is made of Foam..So I wouldn't recommend using it for cooking (And there is No Warning on it that "This is not use for cooking" SERIOUSLY! It's not on that big sticker!). But what can it do? Well as you can see it has Batteries and a speaker..You pretty much hit someone with it and it makes a sound of hitting someone with a Frying pan.....EPIC! I have to say out of ANY Souvenir I have ever got..This one Tops it all..

So which brings up my question...What is the Craziest and strangest souvenir you have got from Disney..Be it from the Parks, The Live or Ice shows, Flea Markets...Let's hear em!

I don't know that it is crazy...but I 'acquired' one of the napkins from the Hoop-De-doo.... it is a checkered cloth...and when I am feeling down, I grab it and twirl it around my head. It's the little things in life that keep me alive.

I also 'found' a wine glass from the Wave in the Contemporary...but forgot it in the dishwasher while staying at Old Key West... I often wonder what became of that lonely glass all by itself....

The Disney on Ice souvenirs can be kind of crazy, but the frying pan beats anything I can remember buying at ice shows over the years. I remember a flashlight that had a rose in a case when the Beauty and the Beast version came through Chicago what must be 20 or so years ago.

I have a piece of carpeting from The Contemporary Resort. I was walking to the Magic Kingdom while they were tearing down the North Wing rooms to make way for the new DVC Bay Lake Towers. The North Garden Rooms were always my wife and I's favorite place to stay due to their close proximity to The Magic Kingdom. I saw a guy carrying out pieces of the carpet and putting them in a dumpster so I asked for a piece and he obliged. I realize that only serious Disney and Contemporary fans will understand why I Love owning a little piece of the Magic. Crazy souvineer? You betcha! But it always makes me smile when I look at it. :)

I have two of the porchlights from the old Treehouse Villas. When I was a CM, they were selling a lot of furniture and fixtures from there at Property Control. I did have the "stack of crates" entertainment center thing, but I sold it after I moved back home. I kept the lights, although they are packed away. They are touch lamps, but are sort of screwed up because sometimes they just come on by themselves. I bought a switch to put in line so that I can cut power to them when I want, but I haven't had the chance to mess with them.

I'm going to have to go when the show comes to Pittsburgh. DD23 is really big into cosplaying, and has decided she wants to do Flynn and she will absolutely need this.

I have a few odd things I'm very proud of. First are some leaves from the Spirit of Pocahontas stage show. A friend of our was a technician there, and gave us a tour of everything after the show, so we grabbed a few leaves left over from the big drop.

Craziest thing we've purchased is some signed and numbered Guenther Crystal at WDW. I've never seen anything like ours, but it's similar to the Yensid bowl second row, furthest right on this page: http://www.robertguenther.com/?page_id=41

Another tradition we have is to buy an ears hat each time, and have the date embroidered on it instead of a name. Then we hang them on a wall together, so we have a chronicle of each visit.

Is it sad that I was shocked that they didn't market Rapunzel pans from day 1? Back in 2010 we were actually thinking about bringing our own toy pans to WDW for Rapunzel's autograph.

Other than that- I think I'm too cheap to buy anything too crazy...although DH bought DD3 a Mickey bear light up blower thing with little balls back in 2010 that I've kind of adopted as my own. It does nothing, but it's pretty awesome.
