Crowds better in Jan or March?

My sister and I are looking to get a way for a long 4 day weekend sometime in either January or March 2007.
What would you all suggest would be the better month of the two. We are looking for the least crowds in the parks and the cheaper prices in hotels.
Help!

The week after New Years was not busy at all. It was very cold though. Now for everyone up north I know I have no concept of cold I'm a native Floridian.

Depening when you go in March, the crowds can be compared to that in May. I think you will have a wait but nothing horrible, maybe 30-40 min for main attraction rides.

January hands down.

March has rolling spring breaks everywhere, there isn't really a "safe" week in the whole month if you want to avoid the crowds.

January, after the first week is much better than March, that's when I usually go, and let me tell you that the crowds are pretty substantial, but it's the only time we get off to go, so yeah..

 I mean no offense to you..... I was just thinking about when my cousins moved up from Florida about a year ago and they still say its cold when its like 70 degrees out. I always call them sissies because to me cold is 30 degrees.:D

Don't go in March if you want to avoid :sohappy: crowds. The last week in January is relatively warm 72-80. It is only cool if the sun stays behind the clouds. Rooms are the least expensive during January and the highest in March. Better chance to get an annual pass discount also.

January is the way to go. We always make our trip there in January. As said before, you may find a ride or two, at most, closed down for rehab.

Crowds are small and if you do some studying, you can hit the right parks on the right days and end up with walk ons for just about every ride.

We are from Denver so the weather was perfect, even when it was foggy and raining. Although, a couple of early mornings were a bit on the chilly side even for us, but it warmed up by 9:00 am.

I don't think you can go wrong with the dates you have set.
