I swear the Travel Channel has stock in Disney!

I love watching those shows - but hate them when they are over and I'm stuck sitting at home!!!!!

I'm pretty fortunate that I live only a few hours away from Disney, so being a passholder, when I get a craving - I will make a spontaneous trip up. If I can't make it for one reason or another, I will take out one of my WDW cookbooks and whip up something from one of the Epcot Restaurants or I will head to the Sawgrass Mills mall and go to the Disney Character Outlet which is owned by Disney and sells park merchandise. Sounds crazy, but it is a fix!

I am craving a Turkey Leg from either the Toluca Turkey leg Co, or from Tomorrowland! A turkey leg is a perfect cap off on a nighttime in the World! I can just taste one now.....hot and juicy .mmmmmmmmmmmm

I do get disney cravings...i always say it's like i'm homesick for it. I basically miss the atmosphere the most i think. Just everyone there to have a good time. I do, however, get cravings for the chocolate cake from Norway...completely amazing or anything cooked at the brown derby...ah i wish i were there right now....

i usually get out the vacation videos or the old planning videos...

oh, sorry i keep remembering things, one thing i always do everytime we come home is on my way out of the park the last day i get some cotten candy in the plastic tub, after i am home for a couple days and missing disney i have my disney cotton candy...lol i'm a dork :brick: but that's alright, i just miss my favorite place...

It's sooo nice not to be the only one missing Disney!! luckily we leave in 21 days!! can not wait!! but I actually feel "homesick" when I am not there. My friends think I am totally nuts, but most of them have never been there. My husband and I are more crazy about going than our kids . We visit wdwmagic everyday too Ü I was looking at my albums from last year....can't wait to go to Chef Mickey's...love that place!! oh and my absolute fav. whispering canyon.

the day we leave I go to the food court and buy a mickey head rice crispy treat and I keep it in my freezer all year long until we go back and no one is allowed to touch it...drives my kids crazy. of course they want it. but it makes me happy to see it everyday when I open the freezer. lol...

I have been craving wdw since we left the resort to come home on our last trip. (nov. 06). We booked again in January, and had over 10 months to go for our upcoming trip...well really exactly one whole year from last years trip until we would be there again. Thank goodness for this site or I wouldn't know what to do lol! Now we only have 2 months and 17 days to go, and man is it going by quick!!! It really helps coming on here everyday. When im sitting at my desk at work, im on (like now lol), and at nighttime until I go to sleep i'm on all the time. I also go on youtube and watch every video from the parks imaginable. Only the actual videos, not the pic slideshows. The best is the day before we leave. I am just in such a great mood, i wake up real early to get some last minute things done and ready, come on wdwmagic to let everyone know I am leaving in just hours, and go to sleep real early...but usually i can't sleep at all. We also watch the videos from previous trips to cure the cravings, which is fun!

My craving begins the moment I leave property. As soon as I see the "See ya real soon" sign, I start planning when I will be back.

Even when I lived in Tampa, I didn't want to go home... because I WAS home!

Now that I've moved back north, it's killing me not being able to jump in my car, drive 1 1/2 hours and be there.

Ok, so when I saw the title of this thread, I immediately thought of a Dole Float. Where can I buy Dole Whip Mix?!?!? I have never seen that, and I know that would be a great surprise for my husband some cold, yucky winter day. (We'll be a the world the week after Thanksgiving, so I can pick some up then). You want to talk about cravings? How about how to satisfy one. My girlfriend and I just moved to Orlando so we could be closer to the mouse. I have just started my Masters in hospitality and tourism management. When I am finished, I will be going to work for you know who. It cost a lot for us to move here, so we have no money to go to the parks. Its torture living so close and not being able to go, but we will be going soon enough. :sohappy:

Where at in Michigan? I know the feeling it is dreary here as well. I have disney cravings all the time! I alwats see pics of iluminations and think that I wouldn't want to be anywhere else!!! oh, and a dole whip!!!

Hey fellow Michigander! we are from south of Lansing. I think of disney every single day. go on this site all the time. try to play my planning DVD's and watch the travel channel specials over and over. Its awful when we go to the disney store cause I want to be at disney so bad. those are my cravings!

I second that. Gotta have Casey's every time I step into MK. Then off to get an ice cream cookie sandwich. If I don't go to the ice cream shop on main street, then definitely the brownie sundae or strawberry shortcake in fantasyland.
