Cranium Command Question

Hello.

Question for any of you EPCOT (not Epcot :p ) history insiders.

In a 20th Anniversary EPCOT guide book I have (hardback, white), Wonders of Life is pictured as a brand new pavilion - and there's a picture of Buzzy in his command station.

For years I've pondered WHY Buzzy looks different in the picture; he has no glasses, he has a totally different face, different clothes, etc.

If anyone knows the photo I'm talking about, I'd be intrigued to hear your theory.

Here's the ACTUAL photo of Buzzy: http://rds.yahoo.com/S=96062883/K=Cranium+Command/v=2/l=IVI/*-

Perhaps the picture was taken during development of the attraction, before guests saw it. They probably added his glasses before opening, as it may have gotten in the way of programming him.

He matches the pre-show, so I doubt it was a last minute change.

Yeah the link doesn't work, but I was thinking the same thing as dizryan, Buzzy has glasses in the pre-show so maybe it was a last minute touch.

i know exactly why grizz when that is a picture of when it first opened as the new attraction it was and like everyone has said before me on this thread its a an addition that came later to what we kno of buzzy today the way he is the preshow which is why later they came to changing him i think like everything too many people noticed the difference and so they changed it quickly like w/o closing the show so people wouldn't notice
