Crane up behind France Pavilion

Just saying if the other sections besides Storybook Circus were open there would be more room for guest to spread out in the park. The crowd photos I have seem lately have been rather thick.Especially is you are traveling with small children.

Sure if the whole of FLE was open, crowds would be more spread out. But with Disney's plan of phased openings, Storybook Circus is doing so well with crowds and is extremely popular with both Dumbos, the Barnstormer, the train station, and Casey Jr.!

From the recent photos is doesn't look like the rest of the FLE is far off. Besides the Mine Train that is.

Very true. Beast Castle already has some paved walkways! It really does look like soft openings could happen as early as August. But it's probably very unlikely, since the slated opening is for the holiday season.

Anyone catch wind of what "new" items will be on the menu? Since they have been putting more vegan friendly options on their menus, I'm hoping that there will be ONE vegan option for us. I so miss going there and getting pastries. At least we can have the pretzel at Kringla, which is oh so very delicious.

It's exciting when anything new is built.

Too bad there couldn't be a Ratatouille ride built in the France pavilion. That would have been marvelous, with a restaurant above it themed to the restaurant in that movie.

But an expanded bakery is nice too!

Yes, the bakery will be BEHIND the current pavilion. You know the indoor seating and the kidcot area? There's a new door in the back wall here (currently boarded up). That will be the entrance.

The building went up quickly, in about a week. The thing ought to open around October.

I have read all of your books!

You are so talented!

Every trip I take down to WDW I look around for you, hoping I see you! One day I am going to get a picture with you.

Thanks Patricia (blush).

I do need to correct the post you quoted. I'm guessing October is when the first half of the changes takes place (the shop closes so they can finish the doorway to the new bakery? the old bakery closes?) with an opening date for the new bakery later, such as March.

You keep up the great work!

I always tell people there are three Kevins I love: Bacon, Kline, and Yee.

Then I tell people about you and they all want to read your books too!

Can't wait until you write a detailed one on my favorite park: Animal Kingdom.

Any further word on if and when the bakery will be closing due to the expansion? I've seen one mention elsewhere of a "reopening in December" but no mention of a possible closing.
