Anyway talkin at work today about the CPers....and some of the ones that have been in the program two or three times are getting to stay in the Fairway Villas at the Disney Institute. Since they aren't being used, Disney is getting some use out of them and not having to pay for some of the extra apartments they were paying for.

Wow that would be a sweet deal. I just wonder how many CPers they are cramming into each apartment and how much more they are charging over Vista Way.

They were staying there in 2001 if there was any overflow (which there was). Too many people showed up for the number of empty spots at Vista and Chatham (fewer no-shows, more CP extending).

Advanced Interns are also supposed to be staying there as well.

Don't remind me of the Disney Institute, lol, I loved it there, I'm so sad that they're tearing it down. I think I stayed in a two story fairway villa :)

CPer- someone who is on the college program

:) in other word.. most likely a 19-24 year old student who is working for Disney and having a good time at the same time...

I wouldn't say bad. Very underappreciated and low paying, but not bad. What do you plan to do with your degree?

I am trying to go to journalism grad school... 4 more programs to apply to!!

I started at the Journalism school in my Junior year. I ended up changing majors (again) because the more I studied it, the more cynical a profession it seemed to be.

I'm not sure what you mean by the location of the school. I went to the University of Florida, which is located in Gainesville.

SWEET!!!!

I am going back for my second Program on the 29th of this month. The first time I was in operations but this time I will be doing Entertainment, WOO HOO. The 29th's CPs are the last ones to arrive for the spring and spring advantage programs so my fingers are crossed to be at the Institute, but my hopes aren't to high. I just hope I don't get stuck at Vista Way again, ugh, lol. Wish me luck:D

LOL, its so true. The computer labs down there are not the best. Luckily I got a chance to come home to Oregon for 3 weeks, so I get to use a computer with a high speed connection, woo hoo, its like heaven, lol. I can't wait to get back, this cold Oregon weather is killin me.
Sorry I missed you at Test Track on your last visit, I hope to do some over time at the track when I get back. Now I'll be in entertainment so whos knws how much time off I'll get. I look forward to seeing you again down in the world but being that I'll be in entertainment it might be hard to "see me" if you know what I mean, lol. :D
