CP Referral Cards

Hey Former CP CM's, do you guys get anything for passing out those referral cards? I'm interviewing in a couple of weeks, and I was going to see if anyone has them online or what not. Thanks!!! :wave:

Not sure what you're referring to exactly...do you mean the "talent scout" cards that refer another person to interview with the company? If so, I think you only get a notation if the other person follows through on it...but I really don't know.

Anyway, good luck with your interview. Hope you get accepted...and get a good role.

There are cards, that former College Program people can give out to students that they think would be a good person to be in the College Program.

Ahh, ok...sounds vaguely familiar.

Even though it's only been eight months since my CP ended, it feels like a lifetime, and a lot of those little details have been buried somewhere in the hard drive of my brain.

It may only be Campus Reps that have them, I know someone who has one, but she's a campus rep.

It is only Campus Reps that have the referral cards. I have lots.

You can get as many as you want, but recruiters will only accept 1.

If you have a referral card from a recruiter, does that give you that much more of a better chance at getting in?

I can´t remember very well, but I think those cards give points or free stuff to the cast members who give them to others who are interviewing, if they are accepted.

I had no referral card and was hired for an international program, so I wouldn´t really say that they actually mean something in terms of better chances to get hired, specially since some people give them online.

My opinions: Referral cards can either solidify you for getting accepted or put into a borderline yes/no. I think more of it depends on the recruiter, if the recruite knows the referrer, and the reputation of the referrer.

I just got a letter from WDWCP inviting me to the presentation in my area to share my experience. It also invites me to give out referral cards, and includes a few. I've never heard of this before, so it comes off as kind of strange.

no, non-campus reps do get them. I have a non-campus rep cp graduate friend who recieved one card. I, as a rep, got a stack of them.
