CP-Entertainment auditioning

I'm thinking about auditioning for entertainment for the Fall '07 CP, and I was just wondering how that goes. I know about the animation and dance auditions, but do they take place after you go to a presentation,have an interview and are accepted into the program? And also, how soon after the audition do they tell you what position you got? Thanks for any help!

Ok, I've auditioned 3 times, and this is how it went. You first have to attend a presentation (either live or do the E-presentation) and then interview, letting your interviewer know you want to audition. Then you may audition. Like you said, there is an animation and a dance part. Good luck!

Edited to add: I found out in 5 days that I didn't get performer.

Ohhhh ok. Where are the auditions usually held for CP auditions? And does anyone know when they tell you what characters you get? Sorry for the twenty questions, I'm just very nervous and very excited

Joanna- I would love to hear more about your audtion. I currently attend the University of the Arts and will be graduating in May and I am very interested in doing the CP in the fall. I know its hard to get accepted, but I figure it is a foot in the door and once my program is over I want to audtion like crazy to get hired into entertainment. Any advice or suggestions will be greatly appreciated!! Anyone else please respond too!!

At my audition they told us they would tell us either way within two weeks. I didn't actually hear back for 2 months which made me really mad, actually it made me think I didn't get it and they didn't bother to tell me. I actually got character performer and they'd had a snafu with my paperwork.

Wow that kinda sucks. How was your audition like?? Are you a dancer too?

Ok I want to do entertainment, but I doubt I'll make it....so would I get put in Quick Service or Custodial? Or do they put you in your 2nd choice if available/they think you'd be good in it?
